MLSE, Inc.® Mission Statement, Purpose, Goals, and Objectives
Mission Statement
We are grounded in the belief that we must provide hope, dignity, and life to all the precious children of our world. Through our love, we will give all we can to make a difference by changing our kid’s lives through music! We will ensure that we are spending our time as a private foundation meeting our mission statement goals. So many organizations have a mission and end up spending so much time around events, fundraising, and administrative duties that they lose sight of the goals of the mission statement. We will work tirelessly to ensure that we have a business strategy in place to make the organization successful, but the main goal will be to meet the expectations of our mission and our mission statement.

A Message from Our Founder and President
At MLSE, Inc.®, we are passionate about providing therapeutic music programs for children affected by abuse, neglect, and trauma and those with short- and long-term medical needs. We also offer our support to nursing home/assisted living centers and veterans who have suffered from PTSD.
We named our non-profit organization MLSE – Missing Lacy’s Sweet Embrace to honor Lacy, the founder’s daughter, who was taken too early from us in a tragic car accident. She was and will continue to be the inspiration for our MLSE, Inc.® and our motivation to touch lives through therapeutic music.
We obtained our Oklahoma Secretary of State and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) 501(c)(3) public tax-exempt status in July of 2008. For over 16 years, we have been blessed with the opportunity to work with different people in their own stages of life. Please support us, grow with us, cry with us, and love with us! , grow with us, cry with us, and love with us! This is going to be a great adventure!

ABOUT ME
Hello, I am Roger Pittman, President of MLSE, Inc.® (Missing Lacy’s Sweet Embrace). I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I am proud to be born and raised in Altus, OK. As I have traveled many roads in my lifetime, Altus is and always will be home. I can remember at the age of 5 sitting right next to my sister listening to her play the piano so beautifully and was in awe of how she made such a beautiful instrument sing like a lark. I thought, ‘I want to be just like her.’ Even though I never could play as well as her, my humble beginning began playing the piano at that age of 5 and my first love is an intricate part of who I am.
I was blessed to have experienced my entire K-12 education, right here, at Robert E. Lee Kindergarten, Eugene Elementary School, Southeast Junior High School, Altus High School, and our wonderful Western Oklahoma State College (WOSC). I graduated WOSC with an Associate in Arts in Music and was awarded The Musician of the Year my freshman and sophomore years. I went on from there and graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) with a Bachelor of Science degree(s) in Psychology and Mathematics. Later, I came back to WOSC and was able to obtain my Associate of Science Degree in Computer Science.
Even though music will always be my first love, I spent a better part of 27 years in the Information Technology world as a project manager. All my educational and professional experiences have contributed to my ability to form and be the President of MLSE, Inc.®. The combination of music and technology has given me the ability to build my own recording studio, write my own songs and provides me with a therapeutic outlet.
In closing, my mama was a Special Needs school bus driver for our Altus Public Schools and every year she was asked if she wanted another route. She always said with a smile, “No thank you, I am enjoying the purpose that I have been given.” I believe because of my parents, family, friends, educators, and peers that I can say with a smile too, “I know I am enjoying this purpose to give our kids with these physical and behavioral challenges a chance at an enchanted journey of expression through therapeutic music.
ABOUT ME
Greetings! I am Kelly Teinert. I am 53 yrs old. I moved to Oklahoma in 2014 after living inthe Greater Houston Area for 33 years. I have been married to my husband Steve for 8 years. I have 3 sons: Tristen (28), James (25), and Zach (9).
Being a Mom to boys who all have ADHD, with the youngest having ADHD and ODD, I have a good understanding of how this type of Neurodivergent Disorder affects not only the child/adult, but also the family.
I met Roger Pittman 5 years ago and absolutely loved his music passion and how he was bringing that to a therapeutic music level for children with Neurodivergent Disorders. I messaged him one day a couple of years ago and told him SIGN ME UP when he was looking for Board Members.
My hobbies include being a Baseball Mom to my youngest, working on our house, cooking, and swimming in our pool. We love to BBQ and hang out with friends/family. If I had to say what I believe to be one thing I am good at, it’s definitely my cooking skills and I love cooking for lots of people.
Thank you for your interest in MLSE, Inc.® and we are looking forward to connecting with the local and state communities!
ABOUT ME
Sara Pitts is a long-time resident of southwest Oklahoma. She has always had a love for music and grew up looking for music everywhere she went. Most days you can find her in the kitchen singing while coming up with some random recipe to try on her unsuspecting husband and teen son. Sara spent her teen years in Altus, OK performing with the choir and in each year all school musicals.
After high school Sara attended Cameron University in Lawton, OK where she was a music major. She also attended Southwest Technology where she obtained her certification in Cosmetology.
Sara has always sought out how to use her gift of gab and love of music to help others. Friends and family will tell you she is a goofball and not afraid to be 100% herself, which makes her the perfect addition to our board where she can put her quirkiness and creativity to good use!
